Participating In The RK-Suswono Register To The KPU, PKB Denies Rumors Of Usung Anies In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Hasbiallah Ilyas denied that his party would switch support to return to carry Anies in the Jakarta Pilkada in the last second.
This was conveyed by Hasbiallah when he accompanied Ridwan Kamil-Suswono to register as a candidate for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta today.
"Just look at today's registration. Just look at the facts today. In fact, today PKB has registered Mr. Ridwan Kamil-Suswono," said Hasbiallah at the DKI Jakarta KPU Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, August 28.
DPW PKB DKI Jakarta initially proposed to the PKB Central Leadership Council (DPP) to carry Anies in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. However, recently, PKB decided to move closer to the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus carrying RK-Suswono.
Hasbiallah admitted that he was not disappointed with the decision of the general chairman, Muhaimin Iskandar, who canceled his support for Anies. Hasbi also remains in good relations with Anies.
"No, no disappointment. Brotherhood remains. Our communication is good, brotherhood. With Pak Anies' team, until this morning we are still communicating," he said.
