Pramono Admits He Was Called By 2 Political Party Chairmans When He Was About To Register With The Jakarta KPUD
JAKARTA - Pramono Anung admitted that he was contacted by two general chairmen of political parties when he was about to register with Rano Karno as a candidate for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta today, Wednesday, August 28. He admitted to getting prayers and support.
"Actually, like today, I just want to register, there are two general chairmen of the party who specifically called me. He gave sympathy and prayed," Pramono told reporters at the PDIP DPD Office, Cakung, East Jakarta, Wednesday, August 28.
Even so, Pramono did not reveal who the general chairman of the party was. "My friend, yes," he said.
In addition, Pramono said there was talks held with the Hanura Party at the Jakarta PDIP DPD Office. However, he did not want to elaborate. Furthermore, the Cabinet Secretary (Menseskab) only said that he was ready to work hard. Moreover, his party cadres have helped and escorted him during registration.
"This is a really spontaneous event, not planned, showing that the PDI has a very strong root. And this is our basic capital, especially myself, believes that this is our very strong capital to consolidate," said Pramono.

As previously reported, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno officially registered with the Jakarta KPUD as a candidate for governor and deputy governor on Wednesday, August 28. Both of them became the first participants to register.
This registration marks the opportunity for Anies to be promoted by PDIP in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Whereas previously the name of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta was widely rumored to be carried by the party bearing the bull symbol.
In fact, Rano Karno had met with Anies in red on Monday, August 26, or when PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri announced the candidate for the head of the third wave of the region. The meeting was held at the PDIP DPP Office Building B.
