Patimban Access Toll Road Worth IDR 5.02 Trillion Targeted To Be Completed In 2025
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets that the construction of the Patimban Access Toll Road which has an investment value of IDR 5.02 trillion can be completed in 2025.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the Patimban Access Toll Road would later increase connectivity to Patimban Port. Thus, the flow of goods logistics can be more accelerated.
"This toll road is very strategic. Not only the flow of logistics, but also to control traffic in Jakarta to the west. So, the products to the east do not need to go to the west first for exports and imports, but directly to the east. So, breaking the traffic load in Jakarta," Basuki said as quoted from the official website of Bina Marga, Tuesday, August 27.
This toll road is included in the list of national strategic projects (PSN). The toll road, which is located in Subang, West Java, along 37.05 kilometers (km) will be connected to the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road section at the Cipeundeuy junction located at KM 89+475.
Of the total length of 37.05 km, 22.94 km of toll road construction is the government's portion. While the rest, which is 14.11 km long, was built by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT).
Head of the West Java Province Block Free Road Implementation Work Unit (Satker PJBH) Yuanita Kiki Sani explained that the construction of the Patimban Access Toll Road which is part of the government is divided into 4 packages.

The details, the 7.69 km-long package I, the 6.2 km-long package II, the 5.5 km-long package III and the 3.55 km-long Package IV.
For construction progress, structure work such as bore piles, piles, footings, columns and soil works such as excavation and compacting of special materials (selected materials) have begun. Meanwhile, for packages I, II and III are site clearing work, landwork and structural work.
Meanwhile, the portion of BUJT, namely the Cipeundeuy (JC) to the Pasir Bungur Interchange (SS) is still in the land acquisition stage. Meanwhile, for the government portion, namely the Pasir Bungur SS to Patimban, the construction progress reached 23.25 percent.
"Hopefully, later with the Patimban toll road, connectivity and logistics flow will run smoothly, export activities from the Cikarang-Cibitung-Karawang industrial area will increase and can support the development of Subang Regency and its surroundings," he said.
