Police Arrest 3 Bogor Residents Who Burn Patrol Cars At Pospol Pejompongan

The Tanah Abang Metro Police have arrested three perpetrators of burning a police patrol car in the Pejompongan Police Post (Pospol) area, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The vandalism and burning of the police car occurred on Thursday night, August 22.

"Meanwhile, three suspected perpetrators were arrested. (The role of each perpetrator) is being investigated by investigators from the Tanah Abang Metro Police," said Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Aditya Sembiring when confirmed by VOI, Friday, August 23, morning.

The results of the interim examination, the three perpetrators were registered as residents of Bogor, West Java. The three of them were participants in a demonstration at the DPR RI on Thursday, August 22.

"The perpetrators had the initials FN (19), MF (19) and EH (21). The three were residents of Bogor and not students," he said.

Although they have arrested three perpetrators of burning police cars, the police chief has not disclosed the chronology of the burning and arrest of the rioters. The police chief confirmed that only one car was burned by the masses.

Previously, the police confirmed that the situation in front of the DPR RI Building was conducive. The crowd dispersed after the authorities conducted a sweep on the road around the DPR building.
