PosIND And Mitsubishi Realiz The First BEV Logistics Needs At IKN
PT Pos Indonesia (PosIND) introduced two models of environmentally friendly electric vehicles that will be used as part of the daily operation of PosIND, at the inauguration of the second outlet in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).
This means that the two vehicles presented are brands from PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), official distributors of Mitsubishi passenger vehicles and light trading in Indonesia from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MCC), and also PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), official distributor Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in Indonesia.
The presence of these two vehicles is a concrete step for PosIND in supporting the development of modern and sustainable public services in the new capital city.
Nusantara Logistics hub in the capital city of Nusantara is expected to become an ideal transportation ecosystem, both from infrastructure and other supporting facilities and facilities, which can later be implemented throughout the country. Previously, the collaboration between PT Pos Indonesia and Mitsubishi began several years ago through trial activities or Proof of Concept (PoC) at L100EV and eCanter, which strengthened relations and trust in the logistics business industry. Through these efforts, MMKSI and Pos Indonesia conducted joint studies through trial concept activities using the Mitsubishi L100 EV model for 11 months, from April 2022 to March 2023. This PoC activity shows that Mitsubishi L100 EV is able to meet the daily logistics operational needs well.
