Elderly Man Abandoned By Two Youths Riding Matic Motorcycle In Bintaro

JAKARTA - An elderly man was found in a guard post on Jalan Bintaro Utama, Sector I, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 22, at 07.43 WIB. The elderly, who are estimated to be 60 years old, were dumped by two men using motorbikes.

This allegation is reinforced by CCTV footage at the scene. As explained by Aziz, one of the local residents who met the elderly directly.

Aziz said the elderly admitted that they did not bring a Identity Card (KTP). When asked where his home address was, the man was silent.

"I was invited to chat, but sometimes the answer is connected, sometimes not," said Aziz when met at the location, Wednesday, August 22.

"Asked by someone he didn't want to go home. When asked why? The man remained silent. Asked where his house was? It's the same, just stay silent. Don't want to tell," he continued.

Azis and local residents suspect that the man was traumatized. However, the main problem he faced was unknown, because the man did not want to talk.

"He looks traumatized like that. He doesn't want to go home," he said.

The elderly condition is quite alarming, looking weak. He also hopes that the local family or Social Service will evacuate the man.

"His condition is weak, like he doesn't eat enough. He has been fed and drank. Received, but only eaten a little," he concluded.

Finding out where the man was at the post, residents finally got CCTV footage at the location. In the visible footage, the elderly came to the post escorted by two young men, using an automatic motorbike.

It is not known where it came from. What is clear is that the two youths got off the motorbike and put the elderly into the post and left him.

Incidentally, the post was not on guard, so the two men could freely leave the elderly.
