Gold Thief At The Kemayoran Police Dormitory Arrested At Warkop Penjaringan Jakut

The Kemayoran Police have succeeded in arresting the perpetrators of the theft of an empty house specialist who carried out the theft at the Police Dormitory housing complex, Jalan Dormitory Polri Kemayoran, RT 01/09, Gunung Sahari Selatan Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta.

The suspect is known as Junaedi alias Juned (34), a resident of Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

The perpetrator was arrested at a coffee shop (warkop) on Jalan Pluit Selatan, Pluit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. For further processing, the perpetrator was taken to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Chandra Mata Rohansyah, said that in his action, suspect J alias Juned first looked for the empty houses left by the owner.

The perpetrator came to his target's house by shouting "assalamualaikum" in the house. If there is no answer, the perpetrator believes that the house is the target of the theft is empty.

"So he shouted to call the occupants of the house to find out that the house was empty. Then saw that the fence was not locked," said AKBP Chandra when confirmed, Wednesday, August 21.

From the perpetrator's confession to the police, the man who was a resident of Penjaringan, North Jakarta, had intended to steal when he left his house. The perpetrator acted alone by carrying a hammer and gestures.

"The perpetrator did not fight back when he was arrested. As a result of the examination, the perpetrator had committed several thefts in North Jakarta. The perpetrator worked alone, using a motorbike," he said.

The proceeds from the theft crime by the perpetrators were apparently sold to another colleague with the initials R (DPO). The perpetrators searched for the target of an empty house randomly.

"He left the house with the intention of looking for an empty house, he immediately concluded. The target location of the theft was also carried out randomly," he said.

As a result of his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft with weight.

Previously, it was reported that the burglary of an empty house took place in the Kemayoran Police Dormitory area, Jalan Dormitory Polri Kemayoran, RT 01/09, Gunung Sahari Selatan Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta.

As a result of the theft, a vehicle containing valuables and gold jewelry worth Rp. 100 million belonging to the female victim with the initials D, an economic scholar, disappeared from being stolen by the perpetrator. After the incident, the perpetrator managed to escape with the stolen goods.
