Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Sends Diplomatic Notes To Myanmar Government Regarding Indonesian Citizens Kidnapped And Asks For Ransom
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) will send a diplomatic note to the Myanmar Government so that it can immediately issue Indonesian citizens (WNI) who are suspected of being held captive and tortured.
"A diplomatic note has been submitted to Myanmar so that it can be issued immediately," Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Legal Entities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Judha Nugraha in a statement sent to Yohana, Wednesday, August 21.
To Yohana, Judha admitted that the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Yangon, Myanmar also experienced problems with access to the conflict area. So that only the Myanmar government can enter the area.
