OpenAI Partners With Condé Nast To Show Its Content On ChatGPT And SearchGPT

JAKARTA - OpenAI announced that it has entered into its new partnership with Condé Nast, one of the world's most famous media companies, which has brands such as Vogue, GQ, and Wired.

In an internal memo of the company, Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch, said the multi-year partnership with OpenAI is expected to expand the reach of content from Condé Nast.

As we all know, generative AI is changing the way audiences find information quickly. It is very important for us to reach the audience where they are and embrace new technology while ensuring the appropriate distribution and compensation for the use of our intellectual property. This is what we found with OpenAI," Lynch wrote on his official website.

As for OpenAI, this partnership means that Condé Nast has given full permission to the company behind ChatGPT's success, to bring content from its well-known brands into the company's products including ChatGPT and SearchGPT.

Furthermore, by working with news partners, OpenAI will be able to collect input and insight into SearchGPT's design and performance, to ensure that this integration improves user experience and informs future ChatGPT updates.

"We are committed to working with Condé Nast and other news publishers to ensure that along with the growing role of AI in news discovery and delivery, AI maintains accuracy, integrity, and respect for quality reporting," said Brad Lightcap, OpenAI Operations Chief.

Thus, Condé Nast joins a list of publishers in collaboration with OpenAI including Associated Press, Axel Springer, The Atlantic, Dotdash kiosk, Financial Times, LeMonde, NewsCorp, Prisa Media, TIME, Vox Media and others.
