Qualcomm Officially Launches Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, Brings Generative AI And Gaming Experience To Middle Class Devices
JAKARTA - Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Tuesday, August 20, officially launched the Snapdragon target 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, which continues the superior tradition of series 7 by presenting advanced chipset technology to more users. This latest platform offers the ability of a generating AI on devices, which allows users to enjoy features such as big language model (LLM) and text processing transformer on AI features, including Baichuan-7B and Llama 2 with 1B parameters.
Tak hanya itu, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 juga dilengkapi dengan pengalaman mobile gaming yang menyampaikan berkat dukungan GPU Qualcommkah AdrenoTM yang powerful, serta fitur-fitur kamera dan perekaman video kelas profesional seperti 12-bit triple ISP dan 4K sHDR.
Chris Patrick, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Handlesets at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., stated that Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 will bring superior features from series 7 to more mid-tier devices with AI support on devices. Sharp, a well-known electronic brand from Japan, also showed its support for the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Xiaomi, one of China's popular gadget brands, will also be the first to adopt the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 on their latest device which is expected to be announced next month. Thomas Wang, General Manager of Redmi at Xiaomi, stated that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 created new benchmarks for performance in its class. "We can't wait to see our customers feel its broad capabilities, including support for advanced AI features, the latest gaming experience, and stunning photography quality," Wang said.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is expected to be available in the global market soon, with the first device from Xiaomi planned to launch next month.
