2 Gangsters Stabbed To Death Youth In Semarang Arrested

CENTRAL JAVA - Police arrested two gangsters suspected of being the perpetrators of the beating that killed a young man in Semarang City, Central Java.

Head of Jatanras Satreskrim Semarang Polrestabes AKP Tri Harjanto said the dead victims of VPA (18) and two perpetrators, respectively IS (17) and DAM (16), came from two different groups.

"This group of victims fought with the group of perpetrators in the early hours of Saturday (17 August)," he said in Semarang, Tuesday, August 20, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the two groups met on Pandanaran Street, Semarang City, at around 03.00 WIB.

The two groups, he continued, had thrown stones at each other before finally the victim fled riding a motorcycle with two of his colleagues.

"The victim was chased by the two perpetrators who were carrying sharp weapons," he said.

According to him, the victim suffered stab wounds to the bag and waist before finally falling on Jalan Walisongo, Semarang City.

For their actions, the two underage suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beatings that resulted in the death of a person.
