3 140.4 Kg Marijuana Dealers In South Tangerang Are Threatened With The Death Penalty
TANGERANG - Three marijuana dealers with the initials H (27), G (26) and S (38) were named suspects. South Tangerang Police Chief (Tangsel), AKBP Ibnu Santoso said the arrests of these dealers were accompanied by evidence of marijuana weighing 140.4 Kilograms (Kg).
"We secure marijuana weighing approximately 140.4 kg. Three people have been named as suspects, the Java-Sumatra network", Ibnu told reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Monday, August 19.
The Head of the South Tangerang Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Bachtiar, said the arrests began with public reports. After an investigation, the police got the characteristics of the perpetrators until they were finally secured.
"We are pursuing it. When exiting the Bitung toll road, Curug District, the vehicle turned around. We secured 2 suspects with the initials H aged 27, and the initials G aged 26," he said.

From the results of the initial arrest, the police carried out developments and succeeded in recapture a man with the initials S (38) in Purwakarta, West Java.
"We secured 91.2 grams of marijuana along with cookies containing 102 pieces of Aceh tea or marijuana. From S's confession, the cake was made on its own and ready to be circulated," he said.
The three perpetrators were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 sub 115 paragraph 2 sub 111 paragraph jo 132 ayar 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law non 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
"The maximum threat is the death penalty," he concluded.
