Sri Mulyani Tells The Story Of Minister Basuki Crying During The 79th Anniversary Celebration Of The Republic Of Indonesia At IKN

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati uploaded her latest photo with the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono after attending the 79th Anniversary ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, today.

Sri Mulyani also uttered the words in her photo upload. He expressed his admiration for Basuki Hadimuljono who was already able to complete basic infrastructure work in the archipelago.

The Minister of Finance said that Basuki Hadimuljono continued to shed tears because he was moved and unexpectedly felt it.

"Pak Basuki Hadimuljono mbrebes mili (flowed tears continuously) during the Independence Day ceremony until after. He did not believe in his achievements and thanked all those who supported extraordinary work," said Sri Mulyani.

Furthermore, Sri Mulyani assessed that the IKN development was indeed a long-term work. However, she said, all parties should be proud of the extraordinary work and achievements that exist today.
