Iran To Choose Military Attack Or Intelligence Operation To Israel
JAKARTA - The Iranian government is debating whether to take action against a military strike against Israel or launch a covert intelligence operation.
Reported by ANTARA from CBS News, Saturday, August 17, Hassan Nasrallah, chairman of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, reportedly was cautious in taking Iranian approval and aimed at avoiding major conflicts with Israel.
However, the United States believes attacks could occur without prior notification.
Meanwhile, a US official quoted as saying Israel was behind the death of political leader Hamas Ismail Haniyeh.
However, Israel itself has not publicly acknowledged the suspicion.

At the same time, British and French officials highlighted the need for diplomatic efforts and a reduction in tensions. The two countries told CBS News that Britain and France are ready to support Israel in the event of an attack.
On July 31, Hamas said an Israeli attack had killed Haniyeh at his residence in Tehran. Haniyeh came to the capital to attend the inauguration of Iran's new president.
The Palestinian struggle movement considers Israel and the US responsible for Haniyeh's death, and insists that the attack will be retaliated.
