US Secretary Of State Visits Israel Sunday, Will Meet Netanyahu
JAKARTA - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will arrive in Israel on Sunday for a visit to the country.
Blinken will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday.
Blinken may stop again in Cairo and Doha.
Previously, British Foreign Minister David Lemmy would travel to Israel in an effort to prevent a major war in the Middle East.
This visit by Lemmy was reported by Sky News citing diplomatic sources.
Britain's foreign ministry did not confirm any travel plans for Lemmy. But gave a statement saying Britain urged its Middle East partners to "choose peace".
