Surya Paloh Is Not About Suswono Being A Cawagub Ridwan Kamil: NasDem OK-OK Only
Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, responded to the emergence of the name of a senior politician from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), Suswono, who was said to be accompanying Ridwan Kamil to run for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.
Paloh admitted that there was no problem if the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) chose Suswono as a companion to Ridwan Kamil. He said NasDem would follow the decisions made by the coalition.
"There is no problem. If NasDem, okay, it's up to you," said Paloh, Friday, August 16.
Paloh explained that the collaboration between NasDem and KIM will vary in each region, depending on the need.
"There are variations, I think. The KIM is certain, but elections from regional areas are not necessarily uniform. There are areas that are the same but different choices are natural," he said.
Previously, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan revealed that there was a proposal regarding the figure of 'S' to become the cawagub Ridwan Kamil. The figure of the initials S is senior PKS politician Suswono.
"Yes, someone has proposed Suswono," said Zulhas at the PAN DPP office, Wednesday, August 14.
Zulhas emphasized that the initial 'S' is Suswono not Kaesang. Although Kaesang once used the nickname of the Pangarep.
"Suswono, not (Kaesang, ed), Suswono. Suswono was my friend when I was Minister of Forestry, he was Minister of Agriculture," said Zulhas.

However, Zulhas still opens up opportunities for Kaesang to be chosen as the cawagub Ridwan Kamil. According to him, politics is very dynamic.
