Speech To The Financial Note, Jokowi Will Not Discuss The Increase In Civil Servant Salaries Next Year

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) did not at all discuss the increase in the salaries of civil servants (PNS) including the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), the TNI-Polri in 2025 in a speech delivering the 2025 State Budget Bill and Financial Notes.

Jokowi did discuss state spending in his speech. He said state spending was planned at IDR 3,613.1 trillion. However, he did not expect the slightest increase in civil servant salaries.

"It consists of, Central Government spending of IDR 2,693.2 trillion, as well as transfers to the regions of IDR 919.9 trillion," he said in a speech delivering the 2025 RAPBN and Financial Notes, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Friday, August 16.

Previously, it was reported that the Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance Isa Rachmatarwata conveyed that the certainty of the increase in the salaries of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) would be announced by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on August 16, 2024.
