Celine Evangelista Hijab, Umi Pipik: It's Been A Convert For A Long Time

The issue related to the celebrity Celine Evangelista who had embraced Islam was finally straightened out by the wife of the late Ustaz Jefri Al Buchori, Umi Pipik. Umi Pipik firmly said that Stefan William's ex-wife had been converted to Islam for a long time.

"When it comes to him (Celine Evangelista) converts to Islam, it's true. He's been a convert for a long time, the river," said Umi Pipik, quoted from the YouTube channel, Thursday, August 16.

Celine Evangelista's decision to finally choose to convert to Islam is not a common secret anymore. "We all already know that he is a convert," he said.

Furthermore, Umi Pipik said that until now Celine is still learning to become a good Muslim, including related to the hijab decision.

"If you wear a hijab, of course everything has a process. People cannot be instantaneous, everything is done slowly. Everyone needs to learn, I am accompanying other people's hijrah process," he said.

The mother of four people is also trying to slowly explore Islam. Umi Pipik hopes that later Celine can be istiqamah with this choice.

"He is indeed trying to continue to learn to explore Islam. Hopefully it will continue to be istiqamah, hopefully it will proceed well, the spirit of the process, let alone hijrah, is not going through an easy process," he added.
