Chrissy Teigen Leaves Twitter: Time To Say Goodbye

JAKARTA - Celebrity Chrissy Teigen decided to leave Twitter on Wednesday, March 24. Through a thread, Teigen wrote the reasons why she withdrew from social media.

“For more than 10 years, you are my world. I honestly owe a lot to the world we create here. I consider you my friends. But it's time to say goodbye".

According to her, more negative than positive effects are felt when playing on social media.

"My desire to be liked and my fear of upsetting people made me something I didn't want, and a different human being", she said on Twitter before deleting it.

Chrissy Teigen was a public figure in May 2009. To her 13.7 million followers, she shares various activities ranging from funny stories to political points of view.

But coming from the same platform, Teigen often receives criticism regarding her tweets. Most recently when she announced eco-friendly products with Kris Jenner that got herself blamed for collaborating with someone from the Kardashian family.

Although Teigen always responds to criticism, this time Teigen opted out of the world of Twitter.
