News Of Construction Workers At IKN Nusantara Difficult To Clean Water Is Not True
The government has denied issues related to the difficulty of accessing clean water in the Housing of Construction Workers (HPK) of the Capital Archipelago (IKN), East Kalimantan. Two units of water treatment installations (IPA) have been added."If there is an issue that says water in the HPK is difficult, that's not true," said Head of the Logistics and Finance Division of the OIKN Transitional Team Yuda Ramadani Lubis when met at the IKN HPK, East Kalimantan, Antara, Thursday, August 15.Yuda explained that the government had added two water treatment installation units (IPA) at the IKN HPK. The addition of the two IPA units to support and supply additional water meets the needs of workers living in the HPK."Jadi untuk air di HPK ini sudah terfasilitasi dan sudah dalam kondisi baik,"” kata Yuda. The needs of the workers' water have been calculated. Not only the need for bathing, but for washing and so on. “ We have calculated it on a need basis. Workers are a habit (using water) not only for bathing, but there is also for washing,” he said. The total IPA, which was originally two units, has now become 4 units with each capacity to flow water being 5 liters per second.“ So, now (the total) is 20 liters per second. For the capacity, it's sufficient, yes, for workers here, ” said Yuda. The addition of the IPA was not only intended for the celebration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at IKN. Yuda said the addition would take effect onwards. In fact, for now, Yuda said that he is still looking for the best water composition to ensure the comfort of workers at the HPK.
"The water in the HPK is indeed looking for a formula, so that these workers are comfortable. One of them is to complete supporting facilities, such as water, electricity, and so on,” said Yuda.
