Threatening Residents With Air Soft Gun Weapons, Former Papuan District Court Staff Detained At Bojong Sari Police

Police arrested a man with the initials DR who allegedly hit with an airsoft gun to a man with the initials R in the Bojong Sari area, Depok, West Java, last Saturday, August 10.

"If the current condition has been determined by the suspect and we have detained him at the Bojong Sari Police," Arya said when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, August 15.

Arya explained that the incident began when the suspect and the victim quarreled over the problem of the building behind DR's house. Because the victim reprimanded whether the building behind DR's house had a permit or not.

"So this perpetrator has a building behind his house, then the other residents have permission or not, if it has not been demolished," he said.

Hearing this, DR was annoyed and took an airsoft gun to scare the residents who reprimanded him. At the time of the incident there were residents who recorded the video until there was a fight over the picture.

"So this perpetrator is fighting over a video picture, yes, it was videoed so that the alleged perpetrator wanted to take the video, so he pushed and fell. So there was violence against the victim while fighting over his cellphone earlier," he said

For this incident, the victim reported to the Bojong Sari Police for what happened.

The police, who received the information, immediately arrested the perpetrator.

After the arrest, the police conducted an examination. He admitted that the airsoft gun did not have bullets.

Where did the weapons come from, said Arya, the perpetrator got it from his colleague while serving as staff at the District Court in Papua.

"So it's just a scare. For an air soft gun card. Information from the perpetrator. It was obtained when he was in Papua when he was first on duty as a court staff and this airsoftgun was a gift from a fellow perpetrator," he said.

Currently, the perpetrators have been detained. He was charged with Articles 335 and 351 concerning threats and violence of the Criminal Code.
