Andika Perkasa Responds To The Proposal To Advance In Central Java Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - General TNI (ret) Andika Perkasa responded to a proposal from PDIP regarding his candidacy in the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election (Pilgub) with an open attitude.
"Anyway, we are waiting for an assignment, basically assigned where I am ready," said Andika at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 14.
Even though volunteers in Central Java have started to put up posters, Andika admits that he is not involved in any communication regarding this matter.
"I have no communication, you know," he said.
Andika stated that if PDIP proposed his name, he was ready to run as part of his duties as a cadre. "Ready, because it is an assignment and we must carry out all assignments as cadres," he said.
