The Body Of The Worker Who Was Shot By The KKB To Tembus Head In Intan Jaya Was Returned To Manado
PAPUA - The body of the victim of the shooting of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province has been repatriated to Manado.
Head of the Task Force (Kasatgas) of the 2024 Cartenz Peace Operations Public Relations Kombes Pol Bayu Suseno explained that Raimon Gustam Kailimang's body transited first at Moses Kilangin Timika UPBU Airport.
"The body was immediately taken to the Mimika Regional General Hospital (RSUD), to replace the coffin," he said in Mimika, Wednesday, August 14, which was confiscated by Antara.
After that, the body of the Tiga Jaya Permai (TJP) project worker was continued to be flown back to Manado.
Bayu said the victim was shot by the KKB on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
From the observation of the CCTV camera, it was seen that the victim was lying in the Kali Wabu area, with injuries including a shot in the head that penetrated his left ear to his right ear.
"The injuries to the victim's body were a shot in the head through the left ear to the right, a shot in the right arm, and a shot in the right chest," he said.

He added that his party expressed his condolences for the death of Raimon Gustam Kailimang who was the victim of the KKB shooting in Intan Jaya.
"We hope that the bereaved family can be given fortitude in facing this disaster," he said.
