Former SMK IT Principal Al-Malik Bengkulu Defendant Of Corruption School Operational Assistance Charged With 5 Years In Prison
BENGKULU - Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the South Bengkulu District Attorney (Kejari) demanded that the defendant be charged with corruption in the school operational assistance fund (BOS) of SMK IT Al-Malik 2021-2022 for five years in prison. The defendant Ahmad Soepardi is a former Principal (Kepsek) SMK IT Al Malik who was charged with a sentence of five years in prison and a fine of Rp. 200 million, subsidiary of three months. "With the consideration of the actions committed by the defendant, namely enriching ourselves, we demand five years in prison," said Public Prosecutor Rizza Oktavia Tunggal Putri at the Bengkulu District Court, Wednesday. He stated that the demands were given based on Article 2 junto Article 18 paragraph (1) letter a, paragraph b, paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1st Criminal Code. Meanwhile, the attorney of the suspect, namely Deden Abdul Hakim, will study the demands given by the prosecutor and will later be denied through pledoi.
