Facing Simultaneous Pilkada, Polda Metro Holds Great Operation Praja Jaya, Deploy 88,375 Personnel
A total of 88,375 joint personnel were deployed in the 2024 Mantap Praja Jaya Operation in the simultaneous 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) security scheme.
The number of personnel deployments was conveyed by the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Kayoto when he was Inspector of the troop deployment ceremony held at the Korbrimob Police Satlat Field, Cikeas, Bogor, West Java.
"Involving a total of 88,375 personnel consisting of 6,991 TNI personnel, 17,448 Polri personnel, and supported by 63,936 Linmas personnel," said Karyoto, Tuesday, August 13.
The 2024 Certificate Operation will be carried out for 140 days, starting from August 14, 2024 to December 31, 2024.
In the implementation of the 2024 Certificate Operation, tens of thousands of joint personnel will be deployed to 31,963 polling stations (TPS) which are spread across the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya.
Not only security, all personnel involved will also carry out cooling systems activities. The goal is solely to maintain the stability of Kamtibmas.
"Starting from creating conditions that are carried out before, at the moment, and after the implementation of the simultaneous regional elections, which will be adjusted to the existing level of vulnerability, where this activity is carried out including, early detection, cooling system," he said.
"Security is open and closed, to prosecution for parties who try to interfere with the implementation at every stage of the regional elections," continued Karyoto.

Then, 4 elections for the Mayor, namely in Depok City, South Tangerang City, Tangerang City, and Bekasi City. Then, 3 regencies in Bogor Regency, Bekasi Regency and Tangerang Regency.
"This is carried out to secure all stages of regional elections with the aim of creating security, smoothness, order and stages of simultaneous regional elections in the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya," said Karyoto.
