Early September, DAY6 Ready To Release New Mini Album
JYP Entertainment as the agency that oversees DAY6 said that the band DAY6 will release a new mini album titled Band Aid on September 2, 2024 at 18.00 South Korean time.
Dadwal launched a new group album as well as a link to footage of album teasers on his official X account on Friday, August 9. A 30-second video broadcast by the agency on the YouTube group channel shows four DAY6 members playing musical instruments accompanied by instrument sounds.
The band Aid is the ninth mini album DAY6, consisting of Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon.
DAY6 released the mini album Fourever in March 2024, after a three-year hiatus due to its members serving in the military.
The album contains seven songs, including the main song Welcome to the Show whose lyrics are written by Young K.
"The atmosphere of the song will also be in line with many opportunities. This is an extraordinary song to sing in concert rooms, graduation ceremonies, and sporting events," said Young K at the time.

DAY6 debuted in 2015 by releasing a mini album called The Day. At that time, DAY6 still consisted of six people, including Im Jun-hyeok and Park Jae-hyung.
Jun-hyeok left the group in 2016 and Jae-hyung in 2021 decided not to renew his contract with JYP Entertainment.
After two members left, DAY6 continued his career in the South Korean music industry with four members.
