Indro Warkop Looking For New Talent For Comic 8 Revolution Film Through Audition

JAKARTA - Falcon Pictures announced the launch of the audition titled Comic 8 Revolution, which will be held on Friday, August 8. This event is a talent search event to find new talents who will play in Falcon Pictures' latest film.

This audition will be held from August 23 to September 21, 2024 in 8 major cities in Indonesia, namely Bandung, Jogyakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, Bali, Medan, Palembang, and Jakarta.

Comic 8 Revolution is designed to provide opportunities for stand-up comedy from various regions to show their talents. From this event, it is hoped that they can find new talents that are fresh and potential to play a role in this film that has been awaited by many fans.

After passing the initial audition stage in these cities, participants who qualify will be quarantined to take part in the next round. During the quarantine period, participants will be equipped with intensive training and various challenges to hone their skills.

In addition, there are also games that will be carried out by participants. All the excitement and dynamics during this quarantine period will be broadcast exclusively through the Comic 8 Revolution social media, so that fans can follow the participants' journey up close.

The event, which is supported by Garuda, Chocolatos, Gery, Chocolate Dilan, and Mountea, also presents Indro Warkop, Cak Lontong, Adjies Doa Ibu, Oki Rengga, Gilang Bhaskara, Marijuana, Kemal Palevi and David Nurbianto as judges. Meanwhile, there are Jirayut, Halda, Arafah and Astry Novita (Ovie) as the host, and there are also acting coaches, namely Adjie Bonk.

Falcon Pictures producer Frederica revealed that the Comic 8 Revolution audition is the right event, seeing the rise of the comedy world in Indonesia.
