Chery ICar 03 Claimed To Be Ordered 100 Units, Delivery Starting Next Year

PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) is known to have brought a new electric car to the GIIAS 2024 event, namely Chery iCar 03, which is an off-road version.

Designed for all terrains, the electric car is claimed to have a tough performance. It turns out that this one car is classified as selling well, even claimed to have ordered hundreds of units.

"The iCar 03 car as the first off-road electric car in Indonesia has been ordered to one hundred units," said PT Chery Sales Indonesia Head of Brand Department Rifkie Setiawan, when contacted by VOI, Thursday, August 8.

Furthermore, he said that this one car shipment was not carried out this year, more precisely next year.

"For delivery, it will be carried out with an estimated first quarter of 2025," he added.

In specifications, this car will have two variants, namely RWD and 4WD. In addition, the battery uses CATL products based on lithium iron phosphate with a power capacity ranging from 50.63 kWh, 65.69 kWh, to 69.77 kWh.

Unfortunately, until now there is no complete specification, it's only equipped with 8 driving modes added with the X driving mode, which of the 8 modes can be combined, making this car more reliable in every situation and condition.

Regarding the price, it has not been announced, but Chery has opened a pre-booking worth Rp. 10 million.
