Russia Attacks Donetsk, Four People Killed

JAKARTA - The Russian military attacked the front line of the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, killing four people.

An elderly man and woman died in Antonivka village, only about 5 kilometers from the active combat zone, said Donetsk governor Vadym Filashkin, Wednesday, August 7. One other person was seriously injured.

Reported by Reuters, in a separate attack, a man and a woman were killed in Mykhaylivka's premises, Filashkin said.

The Donetsk region, which is partly occupied by Moscow forces, is often the target of Russian airstrikes and shootings.

The area also remains one of the hottest fighting areas as Russia targets areas leading to a strategic logistics center in the east, Pokrovsk.
