Receive Miss Supranational 2024 At The Palace, Jokowi Asks To Participate In G20 Activities

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received Harashta Haifa Zahra, a Garut-born girl who won the 2024 Miss Supranational world queen election in Poland in July 2024.

Apart from Harashta or familiarly called Tata, President Jokowi also received a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) who is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Puteri Indonesia Foundation, Putri Kuswisnu Wardani, and three finalists for the Indonesian Women's 2024.

"The president is pleased to accept the four winners of the 2024 Indonesian Women's Women, one of which is Harashta as the 2024 Indonesian Princess has just won the 2024 Miss Supranational world queen election competition in Poland," said Putri when giving a statement at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday, August 5, which was confiscated by Antara.

Putri explained that the Miss Supranational event was attended by 69 countries. With Tata's victory in the event, Tata managed to beat 68 finalists from various countries who were watched on television by more than one billion viewers from around the world.

Putri assessed that Tata was not only successful in showing her ability to answer questions, but also showing Indonesian culture.

In the Miss Supranational 2024 event, Tata won the Best Talent Show category after performing the Jaipong dance from West Java, combined with Balinese dance.

Tata is also good at developing the song 'Bubuy Bulan' and playing my brain at the same time in the talent show session.

According to Putri, Tata's appearance at the event showed various Indonesian cultures, ranging from dancing, singing, to clothes or wastra that were proud in the eyes of the world.

"Not only through dance, singing, and music, but also the clothes worn by Harasta during the quarantine period are using Indonesian wastra," said Putri.

Meanwhile Tata admitted that he received direct congratulations from President Jokowi for carrying Indonesia's name in the international event.

"He (the President) was also directly direct in asking us to participate in activities in Indonesia such as the G20 and so on," said Tata.
