The reason the perpetrator fled when he was about to check the completeness of his vehicle documents on Friday (2/8) at 16.00 WIB at Simpang Tiga Terminal Jati Kudus, he said, was because the vehicle was not equipped with a vehicle certificate and the license plate was also not appropriate.

The chronology of the incident began on Friday, August 2 afternoon, members of the Kudus Police Traffic Unit made arrangements for traffic flow.

According to him, the red Toyota Calya car driven by the suspect was known to have a number plate that did not match specifications and was overloaded with a banana so he was asked to pull over to be asked to show the complete letter.

"It turned out that the perpetrator immediately stepped on the gas and fled. At that time, the members happened to be in front of the car so they spontaneously avoided by jumping on the hood of the car until at Tugu Laka the members fell because the perpetrator turned sharp to the left," he said.

In pursuit of officers, the perpetrator also hit a motorcycle rider and had a broken leg. Until finally it was stopped after running away to Pasuruan Village in front of the paper factory office in Kudus.

The suspect, Thp, admitted that he fled because he panicked and was afraid because his car was not equipped with a complete vehicle letter.

"I was desperate to buy a car at a low price without a complete letter because the money was only Rp35 million," he said.
