Safety Tips And Machine Learning: InDrive Announces Security Feature Update
JAKARTA - Safety is a top priority for InDrive for all related parties, both drivers and passengers. In an effort to provide and improve services, InDrive made an update by upgrading its security system, namely through Safety Tips and Machine Learning.
The introduction of this feature is global, with security tips adapted to address specific security concerns in every country where InDrive operates. These tips will be updated as needed to be in line with product development and include security features both inside and outside the app, such as:
In the application: Users can select drivers/passengers based on ratings and reviews, as well as determine the final goal of allowing informative decision-making and rejecting unsafe orders.
Outside the app: Enhanced driver verification and onboarding processes, real-time travel sharing with trusted contacts, direct driver identity verification, device restrictions for violators, and high-risk area identification.
In addition, inDrive uses Machine Learning to monitor and moderate user avatars, remove avatars that violate usage provisions by displaying inappropriate, sensitive, or commercial content.
Wahyu Ramadhan, Communications Manager InDrive Indonesia stated that the latest inDrive feature is the main focus for users' comfort.
"As InDrive continues to focus on user safety, the Safety Tips feature shows our commitment to making experience using ride-hailing services safer for everyone. We are trying to use advanced technologies such as Machine Learning to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and drivers," he said, in a written statement, Monday, August 5.
