Lalahuta Introduces New Vocalist Through LSIH Pt 1

JAKARTA - Lalahuta introduced a new music project called Lalahuta Sings Indonesian Hits (LSIH) Pt 1. This project comes in the form of extended play (EP) by containing three songs, namely Aku Persisting (Rio Febrian), Dan (Sheila On 7), and False Status (Vidi Aldiano).

The choice of the three songs to be rearranged was not without reason. Kevin Widaya (vocals), Beno Louloulia (guitar), Alain Badminton (bass), and Boni Eko (drums) feel close to the work.

"These songs have indeed intersected with Lalahuta when we played in cafes and played in people's events," said Boni Eko when visiting the VOI office in Tanah Abang some time ago.

"We think this is a form of respect for the song and the artist," Boni continued.

LSIH is lined up to become Lalahuta's annual project. They will again arrange old songs for next year. However, the release of the original song will continue to go hand in hand.

"After I see, this can be used as a part and we can make the EP sustainable in the future. I think this could be a product that only Lalahuta has," said Kevin.

In addition, re-released the hit song is deemed appropriate to introduce Kevin as the vocalist who just joined the band this year.

"So people know that Lalahuta's vocalist has changed and his voice is like this. So when you bring out new works, people won't be surprised," said Kevin.

Furthermore, Lalahuta also revealed what will be presented through LSIH Pt 2 next year.

"The clue, now are the songs from the male singer, the second will be a lot of girl songs," concluded Boni.
