Indian Man Begal Breasts Airplane Passengers To Seattle Sentenced To Prison

JAKARTA - Two men who sexually abused airplane passengers during a flight to Seattle, United States (US) were sentenced to prison.

The US Prosecutor's Office for Washington's Western District said India's Abhinav Kuma was sentenced to 15 months in prison in a trial Thursday, August 1. Meanwhile, Kumar, 39, was convicted of attempted in May.

Kumar was arrested at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on February 18 for allegedly touching the breasts of a 17-year-old woman as she tried to sleep on Emirates flights from Dubai to Seattle, according to court records and trial testimony.

Seattle's CBS affiliate, KIRO-TV, reported that prosecutors demanded 21 months in prison on the grounds that the perpetrators used vulnerable teenagers, causing trauma.
