7-year-old Boy's Legs Pinched By An Iron Benchmark While Covering In Billy Moon's Housing Park, Pondok Kelapa

JAKARTA - A boy named Panji Adelio (7) cried hysterically when his left leg was caught in an iron seat in the Billy Moon Housing Park, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, August 1.

The incident occurred when the victim and her parents were taking shelter from heavy rain. They took shelter in a post where there were iron benches made of hollows.

However, when the victim was about to move from the location to the table to the bench, the victim fell and his legs were pinched in the gap in the iron bench.

"Initially it was brewing. My wife said, let's deck (the victim of Panji Adelio) going to walk again. She took sandals, then passed over and immediately jumped, immediately pinched (bangku)," said Edi (43) to VOI at the scene.

Stuck in an iron gap, the victim's leg could not move. He cried hysterically. The victim was pinched for approximately 2 hours.

"When I fell, I couldn't move anymore. I asked the gentlemen from there for help," he said.

Luckily, other residents contacted Gulkarmat Sector Officer Duren Sawit. Panji's feet were finally successfully removed from the iron hole.

"I thank you very much for your help. Yes, it is very helpful," he said.

Head of the Duren Sawit Sector Gulkarmat Team Team, Joko, said that after his party received the report, they immediately rushed to the scene.

"Alhamdulillah, within 5 minutes, the leg can be removed safely. For the equipment we use is to use a spider. We have stretched the Spider to open the gap so that (weight weight) opens wider and the legs can be evacuated safely," Joko told VOI.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered abrasions on his leg.

"For wounds, only abrasions. Maybe when his parents tried to get his legs out, there was friction with iron on the chair," he said.
