Wuling Cloud EV Twins Soon To Launch In India, Labeled MG And Use The Windsor EV Name

JAKARTA - The Wuling Cloud EV twins that have launched in Indonesia will soon launch in India, but not labeled the Wuling logo, but MG.

India's local media, Autocar India, quoted Thursday, August 1, provided the latest news about a car that has a unique design, as well as this spacious cabin where later MG will not use the name 'Cloud' but 'Windsor EV'.

Later, the car, which has a spacious cabin, will officially launch in India on August 5, at a price expected below 2 million rupees or around IDR 384.9 million.

In specifications, Windsor EV will get two options for battery packages overseas, covering 37.9kWh and 50.6kWh, with a range of 360km and 460km, respectively.

This car is powered by permanent magnet-synchronous motors installed on the front doubles and produces 134 hp, but it is not certain which version will be available here.

MG Windsor EV will compete directly with Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400 in India, making electric cars in the country even more diverse.

As additional information, MG and Wuling are under the auspices of the same company, namely the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC). This allows the two to share the platform, as MG did by presenting an Air EV Comet EV in India.
