Quarter-Finals Of 2024 Olympic Football, Strong Countries Run Smoothly

JAKARTA - The match for the preliminary phase of the Paris 2024 Olympic football group has been completed. Two Group D matches on July 31, 2024, early in the morning WIB, became the group closing party.

Eight teams have confirmed themselves to advance to the quarter-finals. The strong teams are still walking smoothly.

Argentina managed to get out of the needle after losing their first match against Morocco (1-2).

Javier Mascherano's team devoured the remaining two games with a win and ended the group in second place accompanying Morocco.

Spain, which has confirmed their way to the knockout stages after winning in the first two matches, helped Egypt qualify. In the final Group C match, La Roja lost 1-2 to Egypt who finally led the standings.

Meanwhile, France and Japan are the most superior teams in the group phase. The hosts won all Group A matches, with three money with the journey of the Blue Samurai in Group D.

Interestingly, the results of the group phase made the two giants meet early in the knockout stages. France immediately met Argentina in the quarter-finals. Then, Spain will test Japan's superiority.
