Lifetime Tribute To Chrisye Concert Packed With Different Concepts

JAKARTA - We Offer Wonders (WOW) Indonesia as the promoter will hold a concert titled Lifetime Tribute to Chrisye which will be held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta on September 16.

Arief Darussalam as CEO of WOW Indonesia said this concert will come with a different concept, where three chapters (parts) are present to describe the musical journey of the late Chrisye.

"Each chapter will tell the story of the beginning of the journey, achievement, struggle, and what Chrisye left behind," said Arief Darussalam during a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 31.

In addition, concerts are also built with visual concepts, wardrobe, ambience and narratives delivered at each change of chapter which is packaged in story telling, nostalgic and fun and festive.

So many Chrisye hits are still in great demand today. Maybe many young people now only know the song, without knowing the career journey of a Chrisye. With this concert, we want to present Chrisye's songs with different musical arrangements as well as to remind them that Indonesia has a legendary figure as great as Chrisye and how he is dedicated to the Indonesian music industry," said Arief.

The Lifetime Tribute to Chrisye concert will present many talents who performed the best songs from the late Chrisye.

Those who will fill the event are Rizky Febian, Afgan, Mahalini, Andien, David Bayu, Kevin Aprilio, Eva Celia, Once Mekel, and Pasha Chrisye.

Meanwhile, some of the best songs that will be performed include 'School Children', 'Small Candles', Sabda Alam, I Love', I Love Him', Hip Hip Hura, My Love, If I Can, Like What You Ask, For Me, and Kala Cinta Seducing.
