Responding To The Reshuffle Issue, Minister Of Communication And Information: In The Near Future Nothing
JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had no cabinet reshuffle in the near future.
"No, at least until now, in the near future there will be none," said Budi at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 31, which was confiscated by Antara.
However, Budi said, if there is a special need from the President, the possibility of a reshuffle could occur.
"Yes, at least in the next few weeks, in the next few months there will be no, unless there is a special need, yes," Budi said without elaborating on the special needs he meant.
Budi also said that the reshuffle is the prerogative of the President. "We'll just have to wait, that's the prerogative of the President," he said.

Previously, Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana denied that President Jokowi would inaugurate a number of ministers in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) in the near future.
"There is no agenda for the inauguration of a new minister at IKN such as issues circulating," Ari said in a written message to the media received in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 30.
Ari's statement was in response to the rumors that Bahlil Lahadalia, who is currently the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), would be rotated as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
He reiterated that until now there has been no plan for a cabinet reshuffle agenda.
