Police Arrest 4 Palaku Burns 43 Hectares Of Land In Jambi
JAMBI - Police arrested four suspects in the burning of land from three districts in Jambi within a week.
Dirreskrimsus Jambi Police Kombes Pol Bambang Yugo Pamungkas said four suspects were arrested from different crime scenes (TKP).
"As of July 23, four people have been arrested," he said in Jambi, Wednesday, July 31, as reported by Antara.
The four suspected perpetrators are AN (32), AP (37), WA (44), and SA (56). The location of the burning of the land is in Muaro Jambi, Tebo, and two locations in Tanjung Jabung Timur.
He said the area of land burned from this disclosure reached 43 hectares.
"Everything was intentional, they burned it," he said.

The suspects of these perpetrators are subject to Article 108 in conjunction with Article 56 paragraph 1 concerning Plantation with a threat of 10 years in prison.
In addition, the perpetrators are also subject to Article 188 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 5 years in prison.
The land burned is community land. The suspected perpetrators are workers and land owners.
He ensured that in handling land fires cases, the Jambi Police would provide equal legal treatment for individual and corporate actors.
"The Jambi Police will take firm action against anyone who clears the land by burning it," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the number of forest and land fires cases handled by the Jambi Regional Police, so far there are 27 cases of land fires that are still in the process of being investigated. The cases are spread in several jurisdictions of the Jambi Police.
