Woman Victim Of Domestic Violence In Bekasi Claims To Be Persecuted By Her Husband Since 2008, A Week After Getting Married Until Now

JAKARTA - A woman who is a victim of domestic violence (KDRT) with the initials ES (35) is still undergoing treatment at Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital, East Jakarta. ES found a number of injuries from her husband, AS (37) for years.

"Until now I am still outpatient," said the victim ES to VOI in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 31.

The last violence experienced by the victim was that there were bruises on the right eye, bruises on the right shoulder and bruises on the lower left hip due to her husband's abuse.

"The chest and back of the body are also sick, injured. It has been post-mortem at Kartika Husada Hospital, Setu Burangkeng and Bhayangkara Hospital (Polri Hospital) Kramatjati teak from Polda Metro Jaya," said the victim ES to VOI, Wednesday, July 31.

The domestic violence has also been experienced by the victim since 1 week after her marriage to the perpetrator with the initials AS.

"If the domestic violence has been married since the beginning of marriage until now. I am married December 15, 2008, around December 23, 2008, I have received domestic violence," he said.

The victim ES has made a police report with evidence of the report letter LP/B/186/SPKT/K/I/2023/POLRES METRO BEKASI/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated January 11, 2023. However, it has been 1 year, the victim's report has not been followed up by the Bekasi Metro Police.

Until this news was written, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP M.
