Israel Attacks Lebanon With Missiles, Black Smoke Bursts And Pulsity In Southern Beirut
JAKARTA - The Israeli military carried out an attack on Beirut Lebanon on Tuesday, July 30 evening local time targeting Hezbollah commanders deemed responsible for the attack on the Golan Heights.
A loud explosion was heard and a puff of smoke was seen rising above the southern suburbs of the Lebanese Hezbollah armed group at around 19:40 local time, witnesses told Reuters on Wednesday, July 31, western Indonesia time.
The IDF carried out a targeted attack in Beirut against commanders responsible for the killing of children in Majdal Shams and the killing of a number of other Israeli civilians, the Israeli Defense Forces said in a statement.
It did not issue new instructions for civilian defense in Israel after the attack.
A senior source of Lebanon's security said the fate of the commander was still unclear.
Lebanese national news agency said Israeli attacks targeted the area around the Shura Hezbollah Council in the Haret Hreik neighborhood of the capital.
