Apple Releases AI-Based Call Recording And Transcription Tool On IOS 18.1 Beta

JAKARTA Apple officially launched the developer's iOS 18.1 beta version. In accordance with Apple's promise, this operating system (OS) update includes an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based feature from Apple Intelligence. The first feature seen is a recording tool and call transcription maker with AI support. Reporting from The Verge, this tool can already be used for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max users who have access to beta versions. During the call, users can see the record button in the upper left corner of the screen to save audio calls. When the user taps on the button, the user will hear the message that reads, "This call will be recorded." During the call to be recorded, the transcript will be automatically created in the Notes app. If users want to hear audio recordings or view a summary of the conversation after the call ends, they can also access both in Notes. Apple Intelligence's AI feature is not seen much. However, in the near future, the company will release smart reply to email, email summary feature, email search, natural language search in the Photo app, and various other features.
