FBI Will Examine Donald Trump Over Shooting Case

JAKARTA - Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump is reportedly willing to follow the FBI's investigation, which is investigating attempted murder.

The victim's interview is a routine part of a criminal investigation, but voluntary.

"The interview with the former president will be consistent with the interviews of other victims we conducted," said Kevin Rojek, a special agent in charge at the FBI's field office in Pittsburgh.

Through Trump's examination, the FBI wants to get a point of view of what he has observed, just like other criminal witnesses.

"This is a standard interview with victims, as we did against other crime victims in any situation," said Rokek.

FBI investigators continue to focus on their efforts to uncover the motive for the 20-year-old killer, Thomas Matthew Crooks.

The Crooks are'very smart' and increasingly interested in the world of shooting, said Rokek.

Although officials have revealed Crooks was looking for "how far Oswald from Kennedy" before the shooting, Rojek said the shooter also conducted searches related to power plants, mass shooting incidents, information about homemade explosives and attempted murder of the Slovak prime minister earlier this year.

Trump's main circle of association of shooters appears to be limited to his close family, as we believe, he has had few friends and acquaintances throughout his life, said Rojek.

"Although the FBI investigation has not been able to determine the motive, we believe the perpetrators are making significant efforts to hide his activities. In addition, we believe his actions also show careful planning ahead of the campaign," he continued.
