Train Accident In Russia, 100 People Are Worried That They Will Be Injured

JAKARTA - As many as 100 people are feared to be injured when passenger trains skidded in Russia's southern Volgograd region.

The Interfax news agency said eight train carriages had slipped.

The media were at the scene, the emergency ministry said, adding that 324 emergency workers were deployed in handling the incident reported by Reuters on Monday, July 29.

Emergency helicopters were deployed to the scene near Kotelnikovo station. The train traveled from Kazan to Adler in the Black Sea.

Unverified video on Telegram shows four carriages slipping. The passengers came out of one of the carriages beside the tracks.

TASS quoted an unnamed source at a Russian law enforcement agency as saying 20 people were injured when the train collided with the Kamaz truck.
