CCO Reku Optimistic That The Potential Of The Indonesian Crypto Market Will Continue To Increase
JAKARTA - As of June 2024, the number of crypto investors in Indonesia has reached 20.24 million. Regarding the potential increase in the number of investors, Reku is optimistic that the number of crypto investors in Indonesia still has the potential to continue to increase.
According to Reku's Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), Robby, apart from being driven by positive market potential and complete regulations, the growth of Indonesian crypto investors is also supported by the active crypto stakeholders and blockchain in conducting education and literacy.
"For example, Reku actively carries out an online program titled Ask Me Anything (AMA) together with representatives of crypto assets and projects such as MANTA, NEAR Protocol, AI ForU, and others for beginners and investment enthusiasts," Robby said on Monday, July 29.
The education and literacy program has finally made potential investors able to gain insight and understanding from direct representatives of crypto assets or related projects so that potential investors can invest more wisely.
The increase in the number of Indonesian investors also has an effect on the growth of crypto transactions in Reku. According to Robby, the first quarter of 2024 was the best time for Reku in the last two and a half years, both in terms of trading volume and financial results.
Where Reku not only posted a positive volume, but also very profitable. Then, users' interest in the Staking feature also continued to soar to 3 times the average monthly transaction volume. We are optimistic that this performance will continue to improve in the future," he added.

"Of course, in adding to the list of new crypto assets, Reku prioritizes security factors and is in accordance with Perba regulation 11 of 2022 concerning the Determination of Crypto Assets and has the results of an assessment using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method set by CoFTRA," he explained.
"That way," Robby continued, "users also have a wider choice to optimize their crypto investment safely and comfortably."
