Head Of Bapenda Examined By KPK Today Regarding Allegations Of Corruption At Semarang City Government

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) began working on witnesses related to allegations of corruption in the Semarang City Government (Pemkot) today.

Three people were called, one of whom was Indriyasari, who was the Head of the Semarang City Bapenda.

"KPK conducts examination of witnesses suspected of corruption in the Semarang City Government," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Monday, July 29.

Tessa said the investigation was not carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"The examination was carried out at the Police Academy, Jalan Sultan Agung Number 131, Semarang City, Central Java on behalf of IDS, Civil Servants/Head of BAPENDA Semarang City," he said.

Apart from Indriyasari, the KPK also summoned two other witnesses. They are the Head of the Semarang City Bapenda Supervision and Development Division Sarifah (SRF) and Marjani Heriyanyi (MH) who are non-ASN Bapenda employees.

As previously reported, the KPK searched a number of locations for two weeks.

One of the bribes for investigators is the Semarang Mayor's office which is currently held by Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu.

The KPK announced the start of the investigation of three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot).

The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023 2024, allegations of extortion against civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024. There have been four people who have been prevented from leaving the country for the first six months. The details are two state administrators while the rest are private parties. Based on information circulating four people prevented were Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu who was the Mayor of Semarang with her husband, Alwin Basri; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) Semarang City, Martono; and Rahmat Djangkar who are private parties. In this case, the anti-corruption commission has named four suspects. The notification letter for the start of the investigation (SPDP) has been sent and is said to have been received by them even though it has not been submitted.
