Amazed, Anggun C. Sasmi And Isyana Sarasvati Exchange Praises On Stage

Isyana Sarasvati became one of the guest performers at a concert titled "Angle and Friends Ears" which was held at the Plenary Hall, the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Sunday, July 28 evening.

After performing the song alone, Isyana performed a duet with Anggun who became the star that night. They performed a song by James F Sundah, Lilin Lilin Kecil, which Chrisye popularized.

After appearing together, Anggun and Isyana praised each other.

"I've been a fan of Isyana, from the start," said Anggun.

"I also love Mba Anggun very much, with the song Dream, from a small age, " replied Isyana, greeted by laughter from the audience.

Furthermore, Anggun revealed the reason he admired Isyana. He said his junior, who was two decades younger, was a musician who dared to explore himself.

What I like about you, you are free in music. Classic can, pop is good, metal too," said Anggun praised Isyana.

"Anyway, I've been amazed by you, from the start," continued Anggun.

The 51-year-old singer did not even hesitate to call Isyana the most talented Indonesian music talent. He hopes that his junior career will always be brilliant.

"I swear, you have the music everywhere, you want metal, you want keroncong, whatever, the results will be good," said Anggun.

Apart from Isyana Sarasvati, the 'Enshrings Anggun and Friends' concert also presented several other guest musicians, namely Achmad Albar, Ian Antono, and Fabio Ayer.

Meanwhile, Andi Rianto led Magenta Orchestra as an accompaniment to all performers who were present that night.
