Oppo Launches A3 Energy Edition, Pocket Friendly Phone With Galaxy S24 Equivalent Charging Speed

JAKARTA Oppo has just introduced their latest budget-friendly smartphone, A3 Energy Edition, in China. This device highlights the resilience, battery life, and performance at affordable prices.

Oppo A3 Energy Edition is available in three colors: Purple Crescent, Bamboo Forest Green, and Fog Sea Black. This smartphone has a sleek design with a thickness of 7.68mm and a weight of about 186g, making it easy to hold.

Designed for everyday use, this smartphone has an IP54 rating for durability to dust and water, making it able to withstand short rain exposure. Oppo claims that this device has passed a simulation rain test for 10 minutes and still has reliable touch functionality even though its finger is wet or oily.

To increase its resilience, Oppo includes an anti-fall shielding case with an elevated angle and an anti-slip vertical line design for a better handle.

The screen of this smartphone, although degenerate, is not too flashy. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness.

In it, this device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a mid-range chipset capable of handling daily tasks. It has 5100mAh batteries that support 45W fast charging, equivalent to flagship models such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This device offers 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, with upgrade options up to 512GB.

The camera system includes double settings on the back, with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The 8-megapixel resolution front camera. The smartphone also includes AI features such as object removal, cutting, and document scanning for additional convenience. Equipped with a single speaker for audio output.

Oppo A3 Energy Edition is priced at 1,799 yuan (around Rp4 million) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB model is available for 2,399 yuan (around Rp5.3 million).
