About To Brawl, 2 Johar Youths Just Bring 3 Sickles And 2 Bows Arrested By Police

JAKARTA - At least two teenagers with sharp weapons about to fight were arrested by the police on Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru, RT 01/10, Johar Baru Village, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta, Sunday, July 28, at dawn.

The arrests of the two teenagers with the initials G (18) and P (15) stemmed from a regional patrol carried out by the Precise Pioneer Patrol Team of the Central Jakarta Metro Police Samapta Unit. When crossing Jalan Kramat Jaya, the police saw a group of teenagers suspected of wanting to do a brawl.

When disbanded, the police managed to secure 2 teenagers who were carrying sharp weapons and arrows. From the hands of a teenager with the initials G and P, 3 long sickle blades and 2 arrows were seized. The perpetrator's motorbike and cellphone were also confiscated.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said patrol activities of the Precision Pioneer Patrol Team were routine daily activities to maintain the security and security situation in the Central Jakarta area.

"Yes, that's right, the Precision Patrol Team has secured two teenagers who want to fight in the Johar Baru area. We will continue to carry out this patrol every day to maintain security and public order, especially in the Central Jakarta area," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Sunday, July 28.

Kombes Susatyo appealed to the public to care about their children's interactions and control children's activities when outside the house.

"So as not to become a perpetrator who violates the law and victims of crimes by irresponsible people. Love the lives of our children," he said.

For further processing, the two perpetrators and evidence of sharp weapons were handed over to the Johar Baru Police. The two perpetrators were charged with Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 with a threat of 10 years in prison.
